RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Chesterfield County police say four men are suspects in the fatal shooting of a convenience store owner.

According to police, 55-year-old Harshad Patel was found unconscious inside near the front door of the convenience store at about 10:30 p.m. Monday. He was taken to a hospital, where he died of an apparent gunshot wound.

A family friend, Raj Patel, told the Richmond newspaper that the victim’s wife was going to the store to pick him up when she saw police cars and learned that her husband had been shot.
