NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Six alleged gang members charged in an 18-count indictment are set for a jury trial in Norfolk federal court.

The charges include racketeering conspiracy, murder in aid of racketeering and robbery. The trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday morning.

According to the indictment, the men are members of a Newport News-based street gang known as the Black P-Stones. Alleged gang leader Michael Hopson and Darius Crenshaw are charged in the slaying of a member they considered disloyal. Chadrick Lard is charged in the murder of a drug dealer.

Other defendants are Marcellus Williams, Desmond Finnell and Enrique Hinton. A seventh defendant, Justin Brown, pleaded guilty last month to participating in racketeering conspiracy.
