CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - National and local Democratic Party officials are getting together with reporters to talk about the Republican debate taking place in South Carolina this week.

Officials from the Democratic National Committee are holding a news conference Wednesday with state and local party representatives at Marion Square in downtown Charleston. The leaders say they’ll talk about President Barack Obama’s record and present arguments for electing another Democrat to the White House.
