FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Police in Fresno say they arrested a 13-year-old boy driving a stolen Honda.

The Fresno Bee reports (https://bit.ly/1Si5Uco ) that Sgt. Skye Leibee says officer Nathan Carr spotted the black Accord parked on the wrong side of the road just after 10 p.m. Monday.

Leibee says Carr began to make a traffic stop, but the Honda sped away.

According to Leibee, the 13-year-old boy and his 15-year-old passenger ditched the car and ran off. They were found by police, taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall.

Their charges include evading and resisting arrest.
