SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) - Police have announced that a 14-year-old Rockingham County girl who had been missing for more than a week has been found safe.

The teen was found at a business located along U.S. Route 1 in Seabrook around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday. She had been missing since Jan. 2.

Police say they suspect the girl ran away by herself and no further investigation is pending in her disappearance.

NH1 reports the teen previously went missing in November 2014. She was located shortly after at a Hampton hotel with a man from California.

Officers from Hampton and two Massachusetts police departments assisted Seabrook police in the investigation.
