TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Strong winds are making it feel colder in New Jersey.

A wind advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. Wednesday for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.

Forecasters say west winds could gust up to 50 mph.

The strong winds come after light snow fell over parts of New Jersey on Tuesday.

There was an inch and a half of snow in Highland Lakes in Sussex County. But most other parts of the state that saw snow only received a trace.
