MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A neurosurgeon accused in North Dakota of sexually abusing two girls younger than 14 has pleaded not guilty to two charges.

Marc Eichler, of Rockville, Maryland, has entered his pleas to gross sexual imposition and luring minors by computer.

KXMC-TV (https://bit.ly/205pvhv ) reports prosecutors say Eichler used the smartphone app Snapchat to communicate with two minors. The station reports defense attorney Bruce Quick successfully argued in court to get his client permission to have limited Internet access in his personal computer and to travel to Washington and Atlanta.

Bond conditions had banned Eichler from traveling outside North Dakota and browsing the Internet.

Eichler was employed by Trinity Health in Minot when he was charged in October. Defense attorney Peter Welte on Friday said Eichler is no longer affiliated with that health system.
