COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - With the New Hampshire presidential primary three weeks away, Ohio Gov. John Kasich (KAY’-sik) is planning a packed week of campaigning in the Granite State.

Kasich, who is trying to find more traction in the crowded Republican presidential field, plans at least a dozen New Hampshire events through Friday in various cities throughout the state. The New Hampshire primary election is Feb. 9.

According to Kasich’s schedule, his events range from addressing the New Hampshire House of Representatives to visiting a sporting goods store and a brewery. His wife Karen also will be campaigning in the state this week.

Billionaire real-estate mogul Donald Trump is the font-runner in the race.
