RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Box Elder man has been arrested for trying to sell cocaine on a popular online advertising site.

Rapid City police say a local resident called police after noticing the ad on Craigslist. An undercover police officer contacted the seller and set up a deal for 10 grams of cocaine.

The Rapid City Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1Jlsu10) that 25-year-old Juan Crawford was arrested after meeting with the officer. Police say Crawford had about a quarter of an ounce of cocaine.

Crawford is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, and other drug-related offenses.

Court documents do not list a lawyer for Crawford.
