MILLCREEK, Utah (AP) - A man who had been reported missing has been found dead in the backyard of his Salt Lake home.

Police agencies, who had conducted searches by air and ground, found the body of 62-year-old Mark Miller on Saturday around 1:30 p.m.

Officers say investigators are working with the Utah Medical Examiner’s Office to figure out the cause of death.

Unified police say they received a call that Miller was missing Friday night.

According to roommates, he left his home around 8 p.m. dressed in a T-shirt, jeans and slippers despite the extremely cold temperatures outside.

Video surveillance shows him walking earlier that night in the parking lot of a credit union.

Authorities say he also suffered from alcohol withdrawal and recently injured his head.
