DALLAS (AP) - Dallas guard Deron Williams has left the Mavericks’ game against New Orleans with left hamstring tightness.

Williams was playing for the second straight game Saturday night after missing four with a left hamstring strain. He also missed time in the preseason with hamstring issues.

Williams left the game with 1:11 remaining in the third quarter.

J.J. Barea started for the sixth straight game since Williams’ original injury. Williams came off the bench for the second straight night. Dallas was backing a back-to-back after losing in Miami.

Williams had 11 points, three assists and four turnovers in 21 minutes before leaving against the Pelicans.
