DOVER, Del. (AP) - Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a liquor store in Dover.

The Dover Police Department said in a statement that a suspect entered the Super 9 Liquors store on North DuPont Highway around 8:30 p.m. Friday, pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded money. Police say the suspect handed the clerk a white pillowcase to put the money in and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police described the suspect as a black male wearing dark clothing with a dark face cover or mask and white sneakers that may have had red or orange markings. Police say the suspect is 5 feet 10 inches tall.
