PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says a man has been hit by a train at a station in Philadelphia.

Train service was interrupted indefinitely after the man was struck at the 40th Street station about 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities haven’t released the name of the victim, or talked about the extent of his injuries.

It was not immediately clear how the man came to be in the path of the train, but authorities say there’s no sign of foul play.
