MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - A Hinesburg woman has won a lifetime license to hunt and fish in Vermont.

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department says Christina Seward has won the 2015 Vermont lifetime hunting and fishing license lottery.

Her lottery ticket was drawn from 7,485 tickets bought in 2015.

The Fish and Wildlife Department says the hunting and fishing lifetime lottery has grown dramatically in the last two years with ticket sales nearly doubling each year.

The sales of $2 tickets this year brought in nearly $15,000 to support the department’s mission to conserve fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the people of Vermont.
