TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was stabbed several times during a domestic dispute in New Jersey’s capital city.

Trenton police went to the Kingsbury Corporation housing development around 11:30 a.m. Saturday and found a 49-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was being treated at a hospital for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Authorities say the woman and her boyfriend were arguing when he apparently got a kitchen knife and stabbed her before fleeing the scene.

A man was being questioned about the attack, but no charges had been filed as of late Saturday afternoon.

Authorities have not said what the couple was arguing about.
