DOWNEY, Calif. (AP) - Police say a third person has been arrested in the weekend killing of a man during a home-invasion robbery in the Southern California city of Downey.

The suspect, a 17-year-old male from Anaheim, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of murder and is being held at a juvenile detention center. The teen’s name was not released.

Two other male suspects, ages 19 and 28, were arrested Sunday morning after being chased by responding officers. When the officers went into the house they found the body of Jim Rudometkin, a long-time real estate agent in the Los Angeles area.

The Los Angeles Times reports (https://lat.ms/1ZB6Yri ) the coroner’s office determined the 59-year-old died of blunt trauma and heart disease.

Investigators believe Rudometkin was specifically targeted by the suspects, but did not elaborate.
