CHICAGO (AP) - Airlines at Chicago’s two major airports have canceled 215 flights largely due to a blizzard threatening down on the East Coast.

The Chicago Department of Aviation said late Friday morning that there were 155 flights canceled at O’Hare International Airport with delays of up to 15 minutes. The department said Midway International Airport had about 60 canceled flights.

The National Weather Service says the storm could bring more than 2 feet of snow to Washington, up to 18 inches in Philadelphia and 10 inches or more in New York City. Meteorologists say it’s likely this will be one of the worst blizzards in the history of the U.S. capital.
