WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - T.F. Green Airport in Warwick is looking for a new chief executive officer.

The Providence Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1QoRK8i ) Kelly Fredericks announced he will leave his post as president of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation on March 1 to take over California’s Ontario International Airport.

Fredericks presided over the airport’s first ever scheduled international service. In 2013, he succeeded Kevin Dillon, who left to take over Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport.

Jonathan Savage, chairman of the board of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, says the airport needs a leader who understands all aspects of the aviation industry.

He says the airport corporation is preparing a request for proposals for a consultant who will help guide the board through the search process.
