BOSTON (AP) - Stephen Brown scored 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Bucknell held off Boston University down the stretch for a 74-71 win on Saturday.

Bucknell (10-9, 7-1) has won seven of its first eight Patriot League games and moved its overall record above the .500 mark for the first time since December 2nd.

Zach Thomas finished with 13 points and Ryan Frazier added 11 for the Bison.

After a Dylan Haines 3-pointer, Boston U led 48-40 midway through the second half, but Bucknell chipped away from there. A Frazier layup with 5:06 left gave the Bison their first lead of the half and a Nana Foulland jumper two minutes later gave them a 63-61 advantage, which they held the rest of the way.

Nathan Dieudonne led the Terriers (10-11, 3-5) with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Eric Fanning and Cheddi Mosely each had 12 points.
