GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - A Gainesville woman has been indicted in a case involving her 16-month-old boy found by authorities in the back of a car tied with cellophane and packing tape.

The Gainesville Times reports (https://bit.ly/1OF9k5o) 18-year-old Grace An was indicted Jan. 11 and faces charges of aggravated assault, first-degree child cruelty and false imprisonment.

The indictment says Hall County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity Nov. 11 in the Ahaluna Drive area of Gainesville. They found the toddler with his hands, mouth and feet bound in cellophane and packing tape.

The boy was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released to the Division of Family and Children Services.

An’s attorney, Phil Pilgrim Jr., couldn’t be reached for comment.
