FILER, Idaho (AP) - The Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian hit and run that happened Saturday morning in front of Franklin United Oil in Filer.

KTVB-TV reports (https://is.gd/XMWNDI ) an unknown vehicle was driving west on U.S. Highway 30 when it struck a pedestrian around 5:55 a.m.

The pedestrian, 78-year-old Ronald Miller, died at the scene.

Highway 30 was blocked for almost 3 hours after the crash.

The state police say they are following several leads and request help from the public if they have any information about the crash.
