FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) - Reese Morgan scored 17 points, shooting 11 of 12 from the line, and Cal Poly beat Cal State Fullerton 83-75 on Saturday.

Cal Poly (8-10, 2-3 Big West) hit 10 of 24 from beyond the arc. David Nwaba and Luke Meikle scored 13 points apiece, while Ridge Shipley hit three 3-pointers and finished with 12 points. The Mustangs blocked seven shots, led by Nwaba with three.

CS Fullerton (8-10, 1-4 Big West) was led by Khalil Ahmad with 22 points. Tre Coggins added 21 points and seven rebounds. The Titans won the rebounding battle 42-29.

Cal Poly led by two at the break, then a 10-2 run early in the second - including a pair of 3s by Shipley - put the Mustangs up 53-43.

The Titans cut it to two on a 3-point play by Ahmad with 5:53 to go, but Cal Poly made 13 of 14 free throw attempts in the last 1:48 to seal it.
