NEW YORK (AP) - Officials have shut down above-ground New York City subway service as snow continues to fall throughout the five boroughs.

The MTA revealed a revised subway map after limiting service at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Much of 4 and 5 train service in the Bronx, as well as A train service to the Rockaways and F, B, D and Q train service in Brooklyn is now suspended.

MTA bus service in New York City was shut down at noon.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has declared a state of emergency in New York City as well as Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnam counties.

The MTA says above-ground Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North service has also stopped as of 4 p.m.
