PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority continues to detour bus routes as a snowstorm moves across the state.

RIPTA announced around 3:30 p.m. Saturday that routes 21, 29, 66 and 67 will have detours.

They join six routes that RIPTA had detoured earlier in the afternoon. Those routes are 14, 27, 56, 60, 63 and 87.

Detours vary from route to route.

Passengers should check RIPTA’s website for a full description of detours and for updates throughout the day.

RIPTA warns that riders may experience delays on all routes because of the weather.

It says it will work to restore service as conditions allow.
