NELSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Alcohol is considered to be a factor in the death of a 37-year-old man who lost control of his snowmobile and crashed in western Michigan.

The Kent County sheriff’s department says the crash occurred Friday night in Nelson Township, north of Grand Rapids. The victim is Edwin Larsen of Sparta.

The man was traveling at a high speed with other snowmobilers, but they weren’t injured.
