GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a truck driver is accused of drunkenly crashing his vehicle into a Gilbert home.

KNXV-TV in Phoenix reports (https://bit.ly/1K2QRkf) that the crash happened early Saturday near Power and Ray roads.

Police say the truck went through a wall and came to rest just inches from the bed where a couple was sleeping.

No serious injuries were reported.

Responding officers say the driver showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.

The driver has been booked on suspicion of DUI.

Police did not release the driver’s name.
