MIAMI (AP) - Hundreds of participants in Sunday’s Miami Marathon might not make the race.

The Miami Herald (hrld.us/1Qr1wXi) reports that many runners haven’t made it to Miami yet because of the massive winter storm now hitting the East Coast.

The popular marathon draws about 3,000 runners each year.

For runners who make it to the race on time, the normally balmy Miami weather will be a bit cool. Temperatures are forecast to be in the mid 40s when the race starts around 6 a.m.
