LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming guard Josh Adams has been suspended for one game by the Mountain West Conference.

Wyoming’s leading scorer was to serve the suspension by sitting out Saturday’s game at Boise State.

The conference cited “accumulated violations” of its sportsmanship rule for suspending Adams.

Adams has been assessed several technical fouls this season, the latest occurring Wednesday night during the Nevada game.

Adams was called for unsportsmanlike conduct after he waved goodbye to a Nevada player who had just been called for a technical foul.

Adams is averaging 24.6 points a game this season and has started all 19 games.
