WASHINGTON (AP) - The cleanup from some two feet of snow in the Washington area has prompted the U.S. Office of Personnel Management to close federal offices in the area on Monday.

OPM said Sunday evening that federal offices will be closed Monday but emergency and telework-ready employees should follow their agency’s policies.

Federal government offices in the area shut down at noon on Friday ahead of the storm and were closed Saturday and Sunday as well.
