BRIGANTINE, N.J. (AP) - A fire spread by strong winds severely damaged a three-unit townhome building in southern New Jersey.

No one was injured in the fire in Brigantine, which was reported around 5 a.m. Saturday. But two people living in one of the units were displaced by the blaze.

Officials say no one was in the other two units when the fire broke out. The names of the displaced residents were not disclosed.

The cause of the blaze remained under investigation Sunday. But officials say it wasn’t sparked by the massive snowstorm that socked the state.
