CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police say they’ve taken a man into custody after he allegedly stabbed another man to death on the city’s West Side.

Police say that a 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were arguing on the street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood about 9:20 a.m. Sunday when the older man allegedly stabbed the younger man in the back.

The younger man was pronounced dead at the scene and the older man was taken into custody. The names of the men have not been released. Police say they expect the older man to be charged late Sunday or Monday.

Police say they don’t know why the two had been arguing or their relationship but say they were apparently involved in some sort of domestic dispute.
