LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - A Lake Havasu City worker has been cited after he nearly struck three police officers during the city’s annual balloon festival.

The Today’s News-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1Kyv9iZ) that 60-year-old Joseph Levikow received a citation for reckless driving.

According to a police report, Levikow was driving the morning of Jan. 16 and became angry about traffic detours connected to the festival.

Levikow, a city wastewater employee, went the wrong way on a one-way street.

When told to turn, Levikow allegedly kept driving the wrong way and three officers had to jump out of his vehicle’s path.

Police later found Levikow at the city wastewater treatment plant.
