DENVER (AP) - A man who lost his handicapped son in a house fire has died.

Authorities say Ralph Andrade III fell on his head while trying to escape from a second-floor window on Jan. 12. The fire killed his son, Ralph Andrade IV, who had multiple sclerosis, a crippling nerve disease.

Two neighbors were injured when they tried to help rescue people and one firefighter was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

A second firefighter was treated at the scene.
