PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - The National Weather Service has lifted coastal flood advisories for Maine and New Hampshire counties.

The flood advisories for the coasts of York County in Maine and Rockingham County in New Hampshire expired at noon.

The weather service had said to expect splash-over during late morning high tides Sunday.

Meteorologists said New Hampshire’s Hampton Beach area could see possible flooding in the back bay area of Hampton.

This story has been corrected to show Rockingham County is in New Hampshire, not Maine.
