INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A man has died and another is in critical condition after a shooting at a business on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

Officers were called to the Indiana Discount Mall on a report of two people shot shortly after 5:45 p.m. Sunday. Witnesses told police that two men were involved in a fist fight in the back of the mall near the bathrooms when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other.

A third man told police that he witnessed the shooting and pulled out his own gun, fatally shooting the original shooter. He’s cooperating with investigators.

The first man who was shot was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
