AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - State police say an Augusta couple has been charged in the death of a man whose body was found inside an Augusta apartment in November.

Twenty-seven-year old Zina Fritz and her boyfriend, 45-year-old Michael Sean McQuade, are due in court Tuesday after being indicted last week. Both face charges of murder, felony murder and robbery.

Augusta police discovered the body of 31-year-old Joseph Marceau of Augusta on Nov. 23 while responding to a report of a disturbance in apartment building. Police are calling the death “a drug related homicide.”

Detectives previously charged 25-year-old Damik Davis of Queens, New York.

Fritz and McCade were already in custody on unrelated charges when they were informed of the new charges Monday. It was unclear if they had a lawyer.
