NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Police in Gwinnett County have identified two people who were found dead at separate places in the same subdivision.

Cpl. Deon Washington on Tuesday identified the two as 18-year-old Jaquille Thomas and 19-year-old Angelique Bowman, both from Stone Mountain.

Washington said neither victim lived in the subdivision. Detectives were investigating the relationship between the two and why they were in the subdivision.

Washington said officers were called shortly after 9 a.m. Monday after surveyors found a dead man with gunshot wounds between two homes.

While officers were there, police got a second call around 11 a.m. reporting a theft at the subdivision clubhouse. Washington says officers investigating that theft found a dead woman with gunshot wounds in an SUV.

Washington says the two bodies were found about 200 yards apart.
