PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Hillary Clinton made a swing through Philadelphia, meeting with a group of black ministers and attending a fundraiser where rocker Jon Bon Jovi performed.
The Democratic presidential candidate visited Mother Bethel A.M.E. church on Wednesday, where she spoke with 50 ministers from across the country.
Mother Bethel’s minister Mark Kelly Tyler tells WCAU-TV they discussed criminal justice reform, jobs, equal pay and women’s health.
Afterward, Clinton headed to a private fundraiser at the firm of Franklin Square Capital Partners.
Bernie Sanders took a jab at Clinton over the trip, pointing out to his supporters that she was raising money instead of campaigning in Iowa. He told a crowd there, “Frankly, I would rather be here with you.”
