PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A fight between two riders on a Philadelphia bus ended with one man stabbed and the other fleeing the scene.

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority spokesman Manny Smith says the men started arguing around 2 p.m. Friday on a Route 56 bus at near the intersection of Torresdale Avenue and Paul Street in the city’s Frankford section. One of the men stabbed the other and then got off the bus.

Smith says the victim was treated at the scene. No information on the extent of his injuries was available.

The incident is under investigation by SEPTA and city police.
