BANGOR, Maine (AP) - A Bangor man accused of taking photos of naked children and posting them online has pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor.

Andy Quinn Goodall, who entered the plea Friday, faces between 15 to 30 years in prison when he’s sentenced at a later date.

Court records indicate the defendant took sexually explicit images of two minors, uploaded them to a web server in another country, and emailed links to the photos to others. The investigation was launched when federal investigators traced the images to Goodall’s IP address.

The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, the Bangor Police Department and the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department.
