SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Syracuse are holding a news conference to discuss the unsolved murder of a teenager whose body was found inside her apartment 15 years ago.

Investigators say 18-year-old Jill Lyn Euto was stabbed to death on Jan. 28, 2001, by someone wielding a knife that was taken from the kitchen in her apartment on James Street. Her body was discovered the next day.

No arrests have been made in the case, but police say the investigation remains open and they continue to follow up on any leads they receive.

Police officials are holding a news conference at the Public Safety Building at 9 a.m. Friday, the 15th anniversary of when Euto’s body was found.
