BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Zack Denny scored 15 points, Antwon Lillard added 14 and Bowling Green beat NCAA Division II Oakland City 87-56 on Saturday.

Denny recorded his second-straight double-double as he also gathered 10 rebounds. It’s the second time this season he’s had back-to-back double-doubles.

Ismail Ali also grabbed 10 boards as Bowling Green (9-4) held a 50-31 rebounding edge.

Matt Lucas led Oakland City with 16 points and Addison Wagler added 10.

Denny broke the game open with a 3, a layup and another 3 to make the score 16-7 with 10:33 left in the first half. Rasheed Worrell hit a jumper, David Joseph followed with a 3 and Lillard’s dunk made it 23-12.

Lucas buried two 3s in a 90-second span to cut the deficit to 33-25, but a 7-0 Falcons run capped by a Denny layup gave Bowling Green a 40-25 lead at halftime.
