CLEARFIELD, Utah (AP) - A Clearfield couple whose wedding venue closed after the owner was arrested for fraud will still get their dream ceremony Saturday.

KUTV in Salt Lake City reports (https://bit.ly/1YYQbOw) that the owner of two venues offered the use of either one for free after hearing about the plight of Deidre Craig and Tarik Kutz.

The couple had paid more than $5,000 to reserve Tuscany Gardens in Roy for 120 guests.

But Davis County Sheriff’s deputies arrested owner Anthony James Consolo last week on suspicion of defrauding one man of $14,000.

Authorities shut down the reception hall.

The couple has since met with Danny Wight, who operates a venue in Bountiful and another in Layton.

They say now the wedding is back on and their families are grateful for Wight’s help.
