EGMONT KEY, Fla. (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued six boaters from rough waters off Egmont Key.

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune (https://bit.ly/1StMvEH ) reports the boaters called 911 Saturday after their boat began taking on water.

A crew from Coast Guard Station St. Petersburg recovered all six people from the water in good condition, but the 23-foot boat was completely submerged.

Conditions at sea were reported to be 20-knot winds with 4 to 6-foot waves.
