FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) - Tre Coggins scored five of his 19 points to help Cal State Fullerton to an 8-0 start and the Titans went wire-to-wire to beat Division II Cal State East Bay 75-52 on Saturday night.

Coggins hit a 3-pointer a minute into the game and added a jumper to make it 8-0 before the Pioneers got on the board with an Alex Carmon jumper. Jack Pasquini hit a jumper at the buzzer to pull East Bay within 11, 40-29.

Coggins got the second half to a similar start, hitting a jumper, then drawing a foul on a 3-point attempt and draining all three free throws to make it 45-29.
