TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Grammy-nominated singer Byron Cage will headline at the Gospel Fest concert this month in Tuscaloosa.

The Tuscaloosa News reports (https://bit.ly/1MOlmoO ) that Shirley Murdock, Thomas Davis Jr., Christa Yow, Red Washed and Valerie Smith will also take the stage at the third annual concert on Jan. 10. The festival will take place at Moody Music Building Concert Hall on the University of Alabama’s campus.

Radio host Isis Jones will host the event.

Cage is a six-time Stellar Gospel Music Award winner. The concert is free and open to the public.

In addition to the concert, there will be a new artist showcase on Jan. 9 at Frist Wesleyan Church. The winner of the showcase will open for Cage at the festival.
