DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) - An annual two-day agricultural conference that typically draws hundreds of farmers is being held in Devils Lake this week.

The 2016 Lake Region Extension Roundup is Tuesday and Wednesday at the Devils Lake Memorial Building and Ramsey County Courthouse.

Officials with the North Dakota State University Extension Service and others will give educational presentations, and businesses will display products and services in commercial booths.

Topics this year include crop production, crop insurance, the federal farm bill and agricultural apps.

Each day begins with a sponsored breakfast, and lunch also is free for participants. Continuing education credits are available for certified crop advisers.
