SELMA, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Alabama.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency told the Selma Times-Journal (https://bit.ly/1kCMbpp ) that 43-year-old Joseph James Osburn was killed Saturday afternoon when the vehicle he was driving left the road and struck a tree. The crash occurred five miles north of Selma.

Osburn was pronounced dead at UAB Hospital.

Authorities say Osburn was not wearing a seatbelt.

Alabama State Troopers are still investigating the accident.
