PHOENIX (AP) - Police have identified a man who died after being shot several times outside a Phoenix home in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Authorities say officers found 22-year-old Jesse Olivas on Friday around 1 a.m. on the sidewalk near 59th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.

Olivas had between four and five gunshot wounds.

He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

A witness told police that someone fired shots from a vehicle.

No suspects have been identified.

Police say the witness described the vehicle as a gray, four-door sedan.
