NEW HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire state police say a trooper monitoring traffic from the air clocked a car driving 105 mph on Interstate 93 north in New Hampton.

Police say 21-year-old Paul Kimble of Laconia is charged with reckless driving and is due to appear in Laconia District Court on Feb. 25.

The speed limit on the stretch of I-93 where Kimble’s speed was clocked is 70 mph. Police say he was passing numerous cars.

Trooper Charles George in the air radioed another trooper on the ground, who stopped Kimble’s 2011 Lincoln MKX at about 10:30 Sunday morning.

No phone listing for Kimble could be found.
